What we do
This is the work we do every week for homeowners and businesses around here.

Panel Upgrades & Service Changes
Most homes in Daviess and Martin counties were built with 100-amp or 150-amp panels. That was fine in the 1980s. Today, between central air, electric dryers, hot tubs, and EV chargers, those panels are maxed out.
- 100-amp to 200-amp panel upgrades
- Fuse box to breaker panel conversions
- Meter base and service entrance replacement
- Sub-panel installs for garages and shops
- AFCI/GFCI breaker upgrades for code compliance

Solar & Battery Backup
Power outages in rural Indiana aren't rare. They're seasonal. Battery backup systems keep your lights, fridge, and well pump running when the grid goes down. Pair them with solar and you're generating your own power.
- Solar inverter installation and wiring
- Battery bank setup (SunGold, Growatt, and others)
- Backup power for critical circuits
- Grid-tie and off-grid system wiring
- Sub-panel and disconnect installation for solar

Rewiring & Circuit Additions
If your home has aluminum wiring, knob-and-tube, or a panel full of double-tapped breakers, it's outdated and it's a fire risk. We've pulled old wire out of walls that should have been replaced decades ago.
- Whole-house rewiring for older homes
- Aluminum wiring replacement
- Knob-and-tube removal
- Dedicated circuits for appliances and workshops
- Code correction and inspection prep

Outlets, Lighting & General Work
The everyday electrical work that keeps your home running right. Dead outlets, flickering lights, ceiling fans that need proper bracing, or outdoor lighting you've been meaning to add for two years.
- GFCI outlets for kitchens and bathrooms
- Ceiling fan installation with proper support
- Recessed lighting and LED upgrades
- Outdoor and security lighting
- Whole-house surge protection
When to call an electrician
Swapping a light bulb or resetting a tripped breaker is fine on your own. But these situations need a licensed electrician, not a YouTube tutorial.
Burning smell from an outlet or panel
This usually means overheating wires or a failing connection. Turn off the circuit at the breaker if you can safely reach it and call immediately. Do not keep using the outlet.
Breaker keeps tripping every time you reset it
An occasional trip is normal. If the same breaker trips every time you reset it, there is a short circuit or ground fault somewhere on that circuit. Continuing to reset it is a fire risk.
Sparking outlets or switches
A small spark when plugging something in can be normal. Repeated sparking, large sparks, or sparks with a burning smell means a loose or damaged connection inside the wall.
Part of your house has no power but the breaker looks fine
You may have a lost neutral or a failed connection at the panel. This needs a diagnosis — resetting breakers won't fix it and you could damage appliances running on unstable voltage.
Flickering lights across multiple rooms
One flickering bulb is usually just the bulb. Flickering across multiple rooms can point to a loose main connection, a failing meter base, or a problem from the utility side.
Warm outlets, buzzing sounds, or hot switch plates
Outlets and switches should never feel warm to the touch. Heat means resistance in the wiring — that is how electrical fires start. Get it looked at before it gets worse.

Commercial electrical
Shops, offices, restaurants, farm buildings. Same crew, same straightforward process. The wire is just bigger.
New Construction & Build-Outs
Complete electrical for new commercial buildings, tenant build-outs, and office remodels. We handle three-phase power, panel layout, and circuit distribution.
LED Lighting Retrofits
Replacing fluorescent and HID fixtures in warehouses, shops, and retail spaces. Lowers your electric bill and puts out better light.
Heavy-Up & Equipment Circuits
Dedicated circuits for machinery, commercial HVAC, kitchen equipment, or server rooms. If your business outgrew the panel, we upgrade it.
EV Charger Installation
Level 2 charger hookups for businesses and fleet vehicles. We check your panel capacity first and run a dedicated circuit.
