Residential plumbing

Most of our work is in homes. Stuff that broke, systems past their lifespan, rough-ins for new builds. Weekend emergency or a planned remodel, we handle it either way.

Everyday Repairs

Leaks under the sink, clogged drains, running toilets, dripping faucets. The stuff that goes wrong in every house eventually. We fix it right the first time.

Bathroom & Kitchen Remodels

Moving drain lines, running new supply pipes, hooking up fixtures. If you're remodeling, we handle the plumbing so your contractor doesn't have to.

New Construction Rough-In

Underground drain and supply line installation for new home builds and additions. Excavation, pipe laying, and connection to main lines — done to code.

Older Home Upgrades

Galvanized pipe, polybutylene, cast iron sewer lines — if your home was built before 1990, the plumbing may be on borrowed time. We repipe and upgrade before it fails.

What we work on

If water runs through it, we probably fix it. Here's what we get called out for most.

Drain & Sewer Cleaning

Most of our plumbing calls start with a slow or stopped drain. Kitchen sinks clogged with grease, shower drains backed up with hair, or a main sewer line that's sending sewage back into the basement. We clear the blockage and figure out why it happened.

  • Kitchen and bathroom drain clearing
  • Main sewer line cleaning
  • Floor drain service for basements and garages
  • Root intrusion and bellied pipe diagnosis

Water Heater Install & Repair

When your water heater goes out in January, you don't need someone next week. Tank or tankless, gas or electric, we diagnose the problem and either repair it or replace it. If your tank is 10+ years old and leaking from the bottom, a repair isn't worth your money. We'll tell you that upfront.

  • Tank water heater replacement (40, 50, 75 gallon)
  • Tankless water heater installation
  • Thermocouple, element, and thermostat repair
  • Expansion tank installation
  • Gas line connections for water heaters

Leak Repair & Pipe Work

Water where it shouldn't be is never a small problem. A pinhole leak behind a wall can cause thousands in damage before you notice the stain on the ceiling. We find it, fix it, and if your pipes are old enough to keep failing, we talk to you about repiping before the next one goes.

  • Leak detection and pinpoint repair
  • Burst and frozen pipe emergency repair
  • PEX repiping
  • Slab leak diagnosis
  • Supply line and shut-off valve replacement

Sump Pumps, Well Pumps & Septic

Most homes in Daviess and Martin counties are on well water and septic systems. That's a different set of problems than city plumbing. If your well pump quits, you have no water. If your sump pump fails during a spring rain, your basement floods. We work on both.

  • Well pump diagnosis and replacement
  • Pressure tank service and replacement
  • Sump pump installation and repair
  • Septic line repair and connection
  • Ejector pump service

When to call a plumber

Not every plumbing problem needs a professional. Unclogging a single drain or replacing a flapper is fair game on your own. But these situations need someone who knows what they're looking at.

Water where it shouldn't be

Puddles under sinks, wet spots on walls or ceilings, or water pooling near your foundation. Even small leaks get worse — a drip today is drywall damage next month. If you see water and don't know where it's coming from, call before it spreads.

Slow drains in multiple fixtures

One slow drain is usually a local clog you might clear yourself. Multiple slow drains at the same time usually means a main sewer line problem — tree roots, a belly in the pipe, or a blockage further down the line. That's not a plunger fix.

Water heater making noise

Popping, banging, or rumbling sounds from your water heater mean sediment buildup at the bottom of the tank. The heating element is working through layers of mineral deposits. It shortens the tank's life if ignored and eventually causes a leak.

Discolored or rusty water

Brown or rusty water can mean corroding pipes or a failing water heater. If it's only from hot taps, the water heater is likely the cause. If it's from cold taps too, you may have galvanized pipe that's deteriorating from the inside.

Sewage smell in the house

A rotten egg or sewage odor usually means a dry P-trap, a cracked vent pipe, or a failing wax ring on a toilet. Rarely, it points to a broken sewer line. Don't cover it up with air freshener — find out what's causing it.

Toilet runs constantly or won't stop cycling

A running toilet wastes 200+ gallons per day. It's usually a flapper, fill valve, or flush valve — cheap parts, quick fix. But waiting costs you real money on your water bill every single day.
